Friends of Brufut Association Seattle this morning presents a cheque amounting to GMD 300,000 as their counterpart contribution for the reconstruction of Brufut Central Market.
It’s important to note that Friends of Brufut Seattle are the initiators of this very important project two years ago after a group of youths take it upon themselves to occupy Brikama Area Council (BAC). In response, Brikama Area Councils last week signed an MOU and donates GMD 1,500,000 to CASA Gambia as their counterpart contribution which constitutes to 27% of the project cost.
