Brikama Area Council backs reconstratuction plan Brufut Market

Earlier today, we signed an MOU and and presented a cheque of D1,500,000 (One million and five hundred thousand dalasis) as part of their first installment payment of their 27% counterpart contribution towards the reconstruction of the Brufut Central Market. The project beneficiary is the Brufut community who has been waiting for a new market since the colonial era. Ceremony was chaired by the CEO – Brikama Area Council and was attended by the Alkalo of Brufut, Councillor – Busumbala Ward, Chairman and Members of the VDC, Elders of Buunda and Brufut Market Women.
