purpose and mission
Gambia is among the 25 poorest countries globally, facing significant social and economic challenges. Our purpose is to empower local organizations to take ownership of these challenges and drive sustainable change from within their communities. We believe that lasting impact comes from strengthening local capacity and fostering self-reliance.
CASA Gambia supports and enables Gambian community organizations by providing resources, training, and strategic guidance that enhance their ability to address local issues effectively and sustainably. We leverage the work of communities through advocacy and fundraising support to amplify their impact and ensure their voices are heard. We have a special eye for women and children, recognizing that their empowerment is key to boosting the well-being and development of society as a whole.
