What capacity building can bring - Rumba water project underway!

WHAT A FULFILLING MOMENT FOR OUR CAPACITY BUILDING UNIT – RUMBA WATER EXTENSION IS UNDERWAY! From a classroom idea to a real-world solution-the Rumba Water Extension Project is now a reality! Exactly one year ago, Rumba was chosen as a case study during our Mobilising Support Training, powered by Change the Game Academy. Fast forward to today-a water solution designed by the community is being implemented by the community. CASA Gambia pledged D50,000 Partnered with Mama Africa for Gambia Foundation , who lead the introduction of this project. And most importantly: the Rumba community helped raise part of the funds themselves. The project aligns with national goals for water access and community empowerment, and will directly benefit 60 households-over 600 people in the Rumba area. Their heartfelt message of gratitude to CASA Gambia,Mama Africa for gambia foundation, and Change the Game Academy reminds us that when local voices lead, real, lasting change happens.
