Agreement with the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany

INVESTING IN BETTER EDUCATION! CASA Gambia has today signed an agreement with the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany at the Tune of GMD 521,728 equivalent to €9,153.13 for the refurbishment of Sheikh Mahfuz Bilingual School. The planeed refurbishment will consist of providing 100 steel built benches to add to the existing chairs in good conditions, paint the entire school premises, fit tables and chairs in the teachers (staff) room and fit wardrobes in all classroom and offices for storage of books and learning materials. This initiative is aimed at improving teaching and learning of Sheikh Mahfuz Bilingual School and enhance quality of basic edication. To enable the school achieve this goal, CASA Gambia in collaboration with the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany intervene due to the inadequate benches and tables, horrible conditions of classrooms and teachers (staff) rooms.
